As a requirement of our beer & wine license, here are some of the things we are
not:
- A place to meet and have erotic encounters (ie a bath house)
- A place where reasonable standards of public dress and behavior do not apply.
With these goals in mind, here is basic dress code for Pistons Bar:

Shoes, boots or sandals are required at all times. Foot gear must provide reasonable protection against possible glass or debris on the floor.
- All parts of you
genitals must be covered by non-transparent/translucent material.
- Your
rectum must be covered by a minimum of 1" of material extending from the genitals to the waist line.
- The bar staff has the right to refuse admission and service to anyone who, in their sole
judgment, does not meet basic decency standards for conduct in a public venue.
The basic code of conduct follows the following rules at Pistons Bar:

Absolutely no public nudity is tolerated and is forbidden by law.

As a public venue, sexual acts and erotic displays are forbidden by law.

Everyone is expected to conduct themselves in a manor that is respectful to the patrons and staff of the bar.

The privacy of our patrons is a major concern of Pistons Bar. Absolutely no photography or audio recording allowed in the bar without the express permission of the owner of Pistons Bar.

Absolutely no solicitations allowed on the property of Pistons Bar without the express permission of the owner of Pistons Bar.

The bar staff has the right to refuse service and admission to anyone who, in their sole
judgment, is acting in a manor that is contrary to the goals of the bar and respectful to patrons and staff.
Here are some Frequently Asked Questions and Answers about these policies:

Can I wear a jock strap in the bar? Jock straps do not provide the minimum 1" material covering the rectum and are not allowed as outer wear in the bar.

Can I wear bare ass chaps or pants in the bar? You can only wear chaps or open-ass pants in conjunction with a codpiece that fully covers your genitals and provides the required 1" covering over your rectum.

Can I wear a codpiece in the bar? Most professionally made codpieces are made to meet the requirements of covering the genitals and rectum. The bar staff has the final say in the legality of codpiece garments.

Are thongs allowed in the bar? No. Thongs do not provide a 1" covering over the rectum.

Are mesh or see-through material garments allowed? No. Mesh or see-through materials do not meet the requirements of covering the genitals and are not allowed.

How about boxer shorts or brief type underwear? Generally, any type of standard underwear is allowed, so long as they meet the legal requirements above.

Can I wear a swim suit? Yes, swim suits generally meet these requirements. However, thong type swim suits may be prohibited if they do not have the minimum of 1" covering the rectum.
One last thing:
Remember, the bar staff as the final say on all conduct and dress in Pistons Bar. We are not trying to be assholes. We are trying to protect the bar and you from arrest and/or citation by local authorities.
When we say no, please don't take offense. It's because we care.
